Promoter Agreement
Effective date: March 16, 2026
This Promoter Agreement ("Agreement") supplements the HopKings Terms of Service and governs your use of the Service to list, promote, and run events as a Promoter. By creating a Promoter profile or publishing an event, you agree to this Agreement.
1. Event Listings
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your event listings, including dates, location, pricing, capacity, rules, and eligibility requirements. You must have all permits, licenses, and insurance required to legally hold your event.
2. Ticketing & Refunds
You set your own ticket prices and refund policy, and you must publish that refund policy on your event listing. HopKings facilitates payment processing through Stripe but is not a party to the transaction between you and attendees. You are responsible for honoring the refund policy you publish, including for cancelled, postponed, or materially changed events.
3. Revenue Share & Payouts
Ticket revenue is collected by HopKings on your behalf via Stripe Connect and paid out to your connected account, net of the platform fee described in our Fee Schedule. Payouts are subject to Stripe Connect's standard processing timelines and verification requirements. HopKings may withhold or reverse a payout to cover refunds, chargebacks, or disputes related to your event.
4. Judging & Scoring
If your event uses HopKings judging or scoring tools, judging decisions recorded through the Service are final as between you and event participants. You are responsible for selecting qualified judges and communicating your event's judging criteria to participants in advance.
5. Promoter Conduct
- Do not misrepresent your event, its organizers, or its outcomes
- Do not solicit payment outside of HopKings' payment processing
- Do not publish an event you do not have the legal right or permits to hold
- Do not retaliate against attendees for leaving honest reviews or filing disputes
Violations may result in event removal, payout holds, or suspension of your Promoter account under the Terms of Service.
6. Term & Termination
This Agreement remains in effect for as long as you maintain a Promoter profile or have an active event listed on HopKings. Either party may end this Agreement at any time; ending it does not affect obligations for events already published or payouts already owed.

This Agreement should be read together with the HopKings Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Fee Schedule, all of which apply to your use of the Service as a Promoter.
